Former Orlando Pirates and Kaizer Chiefs coach Kosta Papic has issued yet another piece of advice to his troubled ex-player Siphelele Ntshangase whose career is declining.

The 29-year-old Siphelele Ntshangase is without a club again after his contract was terminated by Motsepe Foundation Championship side Black Leopards must recently.

FARPost has gathered that the decision to show Ntshangase the exit door comes after an issue of off-field misconduct. It is not the first time the former Kaizer Chiefs player finds himself in the wilderness.

SIPHELELE NTSHANGASE DECLINING CAREER

Ntshangase was dismissed at Amakhosi in 2021 for similar incidents. The talented midfielder was then given a lifeline by Marumo Gallants during the 2021/22 season but was let go after playing only three matches.

His form at Leopards during his second stint was starting to pick up, and he even found himself on the scoresheet.

It was Papic who gave Ntshangase his debut at Lidoda Duvha in 2013. After some impressive displays, the player attracted interest from bigger clubs. However his career has seen a massive decline at the age of 29.

“During the time he came for trials [at Leopards] I saw the potential and taught him what he needs to do. With all of that, his career grew very fast,” Papic told FARPost.

“But what has happened with him as much as I try to advice him, he decides what to do. I tried during my time in South Africa to call him to give him advice, so I don’t know if he has followed that or not.

“He still has the potential to play in a big team in my opinion but he must be more disciplined and stop what he is doing.

“He must be more professional in his duties for the club and for his teammates. You can not be an individual in a collective sport, it’s impossible. You can not be a star if your team is not doing well,” added Papic.

Papic is currently back in his native country in Serbia and not attached to any club.
