South African winger Kobamelo Kodisang continues thriving with his consistent displays for his Portuguese side, Moreirense.

Kodisang won his fourth Man of the Match accolade in the Liga Portugal 2 SABSEG when his club crashed Nacional 3-1 this past weekend.

The ex-Kaizer Chiefs target was also on the score sheet to make sure that Moreirense seal the maximum points at home.

Currently, Moreirense are top of the table with 22 points after eight games, just two points ahead of second-placed Farense.

The side remain undefeated in the league thus far.

The 23-year-old Seraleng-born joined the Portuguese club in August this year from SC Braga B on a loan deal.

Once again, he also received praises from his agent Mike Makaab for his recent in-form performances.

“If ever a young man has shown character to match his talent it is KK.

“His star keeps shining brighter,” Tweeted Makaab on his official Twitter account.

Kodisang made headlines when he became one of the youngest players to play in the PSL when he made his professional debut for the now-defunct Platinum Stars back in 2015, replacing Robert Ng’ambi in their 2-0 win over Golden Arrows.

He also represented teams such as Bidvest Wits and Sanjoanense in Portugal.

The talented winger was part of the South African national under-17 team that participated at the 2015 FIFA Under-17 World Cup in Chile, where he went on to feature in all three games against Costa Rica, North Korea and Russia.

Kodisang also represented South Africa’s Under-20 and Under-23 national teams. He was also part of David Notoane’s Under-23 squad that participated in the Tokyo Olympics.

“I hope there are bigger things in store in the future. All I want to do is give my best and hope my best is good enough for me and the club,” those were the words of Kodisang in an interview with FARPost after signing for Moreirense.
