Baroka FC assistant Coach Vincent Kobola says they will approach Saturday’s match against Kaizer Chiefs in the DStv Premiership in Polokwane like any other game.
Kobola and his side are under huge pressure following a rotten run of results, including the recent 4-0 defeat to rivals, Sekhukhune United on Saturday.
The assistant coach insisted Bakgakga will not rest on their laurels after preparing for their weekend game—hoping the match is just one step on the route to avoiding relegation axe.
“Obviously, we saw our mistakes, we rectified them at training, and also it was a bad result for us, especially when we are looking forward to having points because we are in a bad situation now,” Kobola told club’s media department.
“It’s going to be a tough one especially playing against Kaizer Chiefs, but the good thing you don’t have to motivate the boys because they know it’s a big day, it’s a big game.
“Also we have to approach it as like the other games because we’re in need of points, for us, a loss is not an option, we have to go for a kick, we have to go there and win this one.
“We told the players that we need to score more goals because now we can see we conceded more goals, but we have been working on finishing at training, hopefully one or two games we will score many goals.”
The Limpopo outfits, who are at the bottom of the DStv Premiership table, will host Amakhosi at Peter Mokaba Stadium on Saturday at 19:30.
