Queen Nomzamo maMyeni, the third wife of King Misuzulu KaZwelithini, has praised women leaders, saying the nation is counting on them after they were given roles in the KZN legislature and parliament.
She shared the message to celebrate Women’s Month.
“Congratulations to all women who took on leadership roles in the 7th democratic parliament of South Africa.”
Queen maMyeni said the nation – from rural villages to townships and cities – is looking forward to their role in government and society and making positive changes in the lives of South Africans.
Her message comes after she attended the opening of the KZN legislature by her husband, King Misuzulu kaZwelithini.
