Kim Kardashian found herself at the centre of social media mockery after her appearance at Balenciaga’s Paris Fashion Week show.

The reality TV star and business mogul walked the runway in a cream slip dress and a fluffy coat. However, her performance quickly became the subject of online ridicule.

KIM KARDASHIAN ON THE RUNWAY

Kim Kardashian’s runway walk was widely shared online, with many viewers calling it “awkward” and “stiff”.

Some even compared her stride to that of someone “drunk” or “tired”. Comments flooded in, with one user joking, “Me sleepwalking from the loo back to my bed at 4 am.”

Another quipped, “She is no model. A for effort.” Others suggested, “Leave the modelling to Kendall.”

Despite the criticism, a few fans defended her, praising her for stepping out of her comfort zone, according to The Mirror.

However, the majority felt that her walk did not meet the standards set by professional models.

KIM KARDASHIAN’S FASHION DETAILS

Kim’s outfit was striking. She wore a fitted cream slip dress, a fluffy coat, and layered diamond jewellery. Reports suggest the jewellery alone was worth around R4.6 million.

Her hair was styled in soft vintage curls, reminiscent of classic Hollywood glamour. Kim Kardashian appeared to channel Elizabeth Taylor, with whom she shares a love for bold fashion choices.

A HIGH FASHION MOMENT

The video, originally posted by her mother, Kris Jenner, quickly gained traction. One viewer wrote, “If you’re trying to do sultry, it’s not working out.”

Kim Kardashian’s Paris moment has reignited debate about the role of celebrities in high fashion.

While her star power is undeniable, the response to her runway walk shows that even the most famous faces are not immune to criticism.
