A Soshanguve father has been handed two life terms plus 10 years in prison.
This is after he tried to kill his three children by lacing their food with poison.
Two of the children, aged 8 and 11 survived, but his 2-year-old son died.
He was sentenced to life for the murder, plus 10 years for the attempted murders.
He received another life sentence for raping their mother.
