Kid X celebrates new chapter after qualifying as a sound engineer

South African rapper Kid X is celebrating a major milestone, both personally and professionally.

The award-winning artist recently revealed that he has officially graduated as a qualified Sound and Audio Engineer, marking a proud new chapter in his journey.

Taking to social media, the Pass ’n Special hitmaker shared photos of himself in a graduation gown, beaming with pride as he reflected on the road that led him to this achievement.

“We did it. Officially a qualified Sound/Audio Engineer and all that good stuff,” he captioned the post.

Kid X expressed deep gratitude to Revolution Media Academy, where he studied through a bursary programme he helped develop.

“I’m eternally grateful to @revolutionmediaacademy for giving me the chance to study through the bursary programme we crafted and also extended to other students. That opportunity truly changed my life,” he wrote.

He also took a moment to appreciate his close collaborators and loved ones who supported him along the way.

“A huge thank you to my A-team for helping me put this together @givenzulu, @liza_monageng and @fuzzroots. Thank you for believing in my little dream. A big thank you to my family as well for all the love, support, and encouragement along the way. I couldn’t have done it without you. This achievement is ours.”

To top it all off, Kid X revealed that his graduation day coincided with his birthday, making the moment even more special.

“Lastly, happy birthday to me. A new chapter begins,” he added.
