Kgolo Daguru apologises to Annie Mthembu after cheating claims

Businessman and nightclub owner Kgolo Daguru has issued a heartfelt public apology to his estranged wife, former Real Housewives of Durban star Annie Mthembu, following allegations of infidelity that led to the collapse of their marriage.

Annie, who left the reality show during the same period their relationship fell apart, recently opened up in an interview on Engineer Your Life about the betrayal she endured.

She claimed her former husband had been seeing other women behind her back, leaving her humiliated and questioning her self-worth.

“No one likes to be cheated on. It makes you question yourself a lot. Are you enough? Is there something wrong with me?” she said.

The interview sparked heated reactions on social media, prompting Daguru to address the matter.

On 12 August 2025, he posted a statement on Instagram acknowledging his mistakes and expressing regret for the hurt he caused.

“No matter the personal struggles I was facing, there’s never an excuse for dishonouring God’s blessings. I deeply regret the pain I’ve caused you. As the head of the family, I let everyone down,” he wrote.

He ended his message with a farewell to Annie and a wish for her future happiness: “Annie, from the bottom of my heart, I wish you true love, healing and peace. Farewell, Pretty Wings.”

The apology, however, has drawn mixed reactions online, with many social media users questioning his sincerity and weighing in on the couple’s tumultuous relationship.
