Former Cape Town City midfielder Zukile Kewuti has left Maritzburg United, iDiski Times can confirm.
This publication has learned that the 25-year-old left the Team of Choice a few weeks ago.
Kewuti was spotted in Cape Town by one of our journalists earlier this week but he refused to comment on the situation.
According to the source, Kewuti was told to leave the club as he was not into John Maduka’s plans.
Meanwhile, Maduka didn’t last long before he was shown the door by the KwaZulu-Natal outfit, who are sitting at the bottom of the DStv Premiership standings.
We’ve been told Kewuti is keeping himself fit, as he is training with ABC Motsepe League side Ikapa Sporting.
