Kaizer Chiefs will host Magesi FC this weekend in a Betway Premiership clash as they look for their second win of the month.

After securing victory in Sunday’s Betway Premiership fixture against Durban City on Sunday in Johannesburg, Amakhosi will return to their alternative home venue, the Moses Mabhida Stadium.

After 19 matches, Chiefs currently lie fifth on the log with 33 points from 19 matches, have two games in hand compared to most of the teams above them.

Magesi, meanwhile, sit at the bottom of the standings with 14 points from 20 games and will need to beat the Glamour Boys if they are to make giant steps in avoiding relegation.

Kaizer Chiefs welcome the return of two players for Magesi

Chiefs will be boosted by the return of Sibongiseni Mthethwa and Aden McCarthy, both of whom missed Sunday’s match due to suspension.

Their availability adds depth to a squad already strengthened by recent recoveries from injury.

What time are Kaizer Chiefs playing Magesi?

Amakhosi and Dikwena tsa Meetse will do battle at the Moses Mabhida Stadium on Saturday evening (21 March). The match will be played at 18:00 and will be televised on SuperSport channels.

A win for the Glamour Boys this weekend could put them in third position, which is where they want to be at the end of the season. Qualifying for the CAF Confederation Cup is what co-coaches Khalil Ben Youssef and Cedric Kaze are aiming for at the end of the season.

Here is how Kaizer Chiefs could lineup against Magesi FC: Bruce Bvuma, Thabiso Monyane, Aden McCarthy, Miguel Inacio, Bradley Cross, Sibongiseni Mthethwa, Thabo Cele, Pule Mmodi, Glody Lilepo and Flavio Da Silva.

Can Chiefs get another win?
