Kaizer Chiefs gave fans a mid-game treat during their Betway Premiership clash with Richards Bay FC, unveiling three new signings at half-time at FNB Stadium.

Luke Baartman, Asanele Velebayi, and Etiosa Ighodaro were all introduced to the roaring Soweto crowd, marking their official arrival at Amakhosi.

While the trio missed pre-season, their arrival has sent a buzz through the squad and Kaizer Chiefs supporters alike. Meanwhile, assistant coach Khalil Ben Youssef has sent somewhat of a warning to the three players…

NEW KAIZER CHIEFS SIGNINGS TOLD TO FIGHT

“I think we need these kinds of players to help us in the team, but let me say to them that they are coming to fight for their positions,” Ben Youssef said after the 1-0 victory over Stellenbosch FC.

“The positions [in the starting line-up] at Kaizer Chiefs are going to be very tough to get. So the mentality for these players should be that they need to fight and help the team.
