Kaizer Chiefs have strengthened two key positions after completing the signings of Thabo Moloisane and Renaldo Leaner on free transfers.
The duo arrive ahead of the 2026/27 Betway Premiership campaign as Amakhosi continue reshaping the squad under head coach Fernando Da Cruz.
Centre-back Moloisane, 27, joined after leaving Stellenbosch FC, while 28-year-old goalkeeper Leaner arrived following his departure from Sekhukhune United. Their arrivals increase competition in defence and could see both players walk straight into the starting line-up.
There is more good news for Amakhosi. Defender Rushwin Dortley and striker Etiosa Ighodaro returning after lengthy injury spells. Their availability gives Da Cruz two important players as he prepares for the new campaign.
The new-look XI also blends experience with youth, with Lebohang Maboe, Siphesihle Ndlovu and Khanyisa Mayo providing proven Betway Premiership quality. Youngsters Mduduzi Shabalala and Asanele Velebayi offer creativity, while Ighodaro leads the attack.
