Kaizer Chiefs star ‘made of glass’

Kaizer Chiefs fans have several favourites in the squad, but sometimes tough love is the only order of the day.

Ngcobo’s Kaizer Chiefs days numbered?

Fan-favourite and academy talent Nkosingiphile Ngcobo is under fire for his failure to string together consistent performances for the first team. Injuries have ravaged the 26-year-old’s career to date, and rumours suggest the club could move him on at the end of the 2025-26 campaign. One fan remarked that he is ‘made of glass’, in an attempt to highlight his frustrating injury-proneness.

Benni could return to coaching in South Africa

Former Porto, Blackburn and Ajax striker Benni McCarthy says he’s open to a return to club football. The Kenya head coach is currently the frontrunner to replace the caretaker duo of Cedric Kaze and Khalil Ben Youssef.

“They are a good team with very good players,” McCarthy said via IOL.
