Kaizer Chiefs have reportedly parted ways with head coach Mohamed Nasreddine Nabi.

According to several sources, including SABC Sport journalist Mazola J Molefe, the decision follows an alleged breach of contract related to not holding a valid licence to sit on the bench for a CAF Confederation Cup fixture.

Attempts to reach Kaizer Chiefs for confirmation have so far been unsuccessful.

Nabi was appointed head coach of the men’s senior team in July 2024 on a two-year contract, with an option to extend for a further year.

He arrived at Amakhosi with a wealth of experience, having managed top clubs in Libya, DR Congo, Egypt, Sudan, the UAE, Tanzania and most recently Morocco.

Over the years he has lifted silverware in several countries and featured prominently in African club competitions. Among his many achievements, Nabi won the CAF Confederation Cup with FC Leopards in Congo.
