Kaizer Chiefs have now parted ways with eight players this pre-season as they look to build a new team.

On Tuesday, Amakhosi announced the departure of midfielder Tebogo Potsane. The 31-year-old midfielder played two seasons and only made just 19 appearances for Chiefs.

“As Kaizer Chiefs continue to prepare for the upcoming season, the Club and midfielder Tebogo Potsane have parted ways amicably.

We thank him for his contributions and wish him all the best in the future,” the club said in a statement.

After failing to finish in the top 8 for the second consecutive time, Amakhosi are hoping for a better season. Despite claiming the Nedbank Cup, Nasreddine Nabi’s men had a poor 2024/25 campaign, finishing ninth in the Betway Premiership.
