Today’s Kaizer Chiefs news and rumours revolve around Naledi Hlongwane, Khulumani Ndamane and Mduduzi Shabalala.

21-year-old defender Ndamane has thrived since leaving Chiefs in July 2024.

Meanwhile, Mdu Shabalala got his chance for Bafana.

The one that got away for Kaizer Chiefs

South African soccer legend Mlungisi Ngubane believes Kaizer Chiefs made a huge mistake by allowing Khulumani Ndamane to leave for TS Galaxy in July 2024. The 21-year-old central defender has become a key figure for Bafana Bafana under Hugo Broos, starting their recent 3-0 win over Rwanda. Ngubane rates him highly.

Will Hlongwane run out of patience?

Ngubane also believes Kaizer Chiefs might live to regret not accommodating the talents of Naledi Hlongwane earlier.

“They recently promoted a young player, Naledi Hlongwane, from their DDC, and he performed well. However, now he seems to be lost in the squad,” Ngubane told KickOff.
