Kaizer Chiefs name starting lineup for Cape Town City clash!

Kaizer Chiefs begin their MTN8 title defence this evening when they visit the Athlone Stadium to face Cape Town City FC.

The Glamour Boys will be desperate to pick up their first win of the season, and keep their MTN8 hopes alive this afternoon.

Molefi Ntseki’s side are fresh off a heartbreaking loss against rivals Mamelodi Sundowns during their mid-week fixture.

Cape Town City on the other hand are flying high and sir in second place on the DStv Premiership log standings after picking up two victories in their opening two matches.

“We are looking that way, to say ‘It’s a competition and it’s 11 v 11, tactically and mentally’. We are ready as a team. And having scored a goal yesterday (Wednesday) brings confidence in the team to say ‘Yes, we can score goals’. Scoring goals will be the most important part.”
