Kaizer Chiefs are rumoured to be back in the race for a clinical striker from Yanga SC who’s got a strike-rate that even Erling Haaland would be proud of in truth.
KAIZER CHIEFS KEEN ON FISTON MAYELE
Chiefs were keen on the Yanga striker last year but a move failed to materialize. It seems as though their interest has been piqued again. The 28-year-old has scored 31 goals in all competitions this term. It’s no surprise Chiefs are interested, given their well-documented issues in front of goal with neither Christian Saile nor Caleb Bimenyimana impressing for long periods.
The Glamour Boys will need to fork out a hefty sum, though, to lure the Congolese striker away from the Tanzanian champions.

MAYELE IS IN DEMAND
According to kickoff.com Mayele has attracted interest from Al Hilal, Al Marrikh, Raja Casablanca and an unnamed side from Turkey. Zamalek are also rumoured to be keen on the “Congolese Erling Halaand.”
“Kaizer Chiefs did make a request on the possibility of opening negotiations but have not made and official offer yet.” said the source.
