KAIZER CHIEFS STARTING LINE UP TO EXPECT AGAINST TS GALAXY

Goalkeeper: Bruce Bvuma, right back: Dillan Solomons, central defender: Inacio Miguel, central defender: Aden McCarthy, left back: Bradley Cross, central midfielder: Lebohang Maboe, central midfielder: Siphesihle Ndlovu, attacking midfielder: Mduduzi Shabalalala, right winger: Wandile Duba, left winger: Pule Mmodi, striker: Glody Lilepo.

SECOND MEETING SINCE DECEMBER

Sunday’s showdown becomes the second occasion of the season between Amakhosi and the Rockets. Decemeber 2025 saw a very entertaining goaless draw at the Mbombela Stadium.

It was one of those afternoons where Kaizer Chiefs felt they did enough to win, but football said no. Even thought they had found the breakthrough through Flavio Silva, the goal was incorrectly rulled offside.

Late drama followed when Nhlanhla Mgaga was sent off in stoppage time, but even with 10 men, Galaxy held on for the point in their final match before the AFCON break.

KAIZER CHIEFS IN GOOD FORM

Fast forward to April today and Kaizer Chiefs sit third on the table with 39 points from 21 matches, collecting 11 wins along the way.

Galaxy will be facing an Amakhosi side with three victories on the trot, the latest being the thrilling comeback 3-1 win over Orbit College at the Nelson Mandela Stadium on Monday. The day’s goalscorers Duba, and Nldovu will carry the most confidence.
