Kaizer Chiefs FC’s bosses know very well they’ll have to make some bold transfers in the off-season.

Emotions are currently boiling over amongst their fan-base due to poor performances.

And if something drastic isn’t done, the club face the risk of feeling the full wrath of their massive fan-base.

Now, new reports suggest the club are doing just that. They’re going after one of the country’s most exciting players!

Kaizer Chiefs ready to pounce on former Orlando Pirates star

With Mohau Nkota’s future in Saudi Arabia facing uncertainty, the Glamour Boys are reportedly closely monitoring the situation.

Nkota has been linked with a permanent exit from Al Ettifaq. In recent days he’s been linked with either a move to either Europe or back to Orlando Pirates FC.

Now, new reports suggest Kaizer Chiefs have emerged as a surprise next destination for the Bafana Bafana winger!

“A fresh twist has emerged in the future of Mohau Nkota, with reports suggesting that Kaizer Chiefs have now entered the race for the player,” a Soccer Laduma report read.

Amakhosi desperate for big transfers

After being dumped out of all cup competitions, and with slim league title chances, Kaizer Chiefs will already be shifting their focus to next season.

Yes, all attention will be on picking up as many league points as possible this season. A top-three finish will be high on the priorities list at Naturena.

But in all honesty, the club can’t compete with Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates in this current position.

Kaizer Chiefs bosses will know very well a high pedigree coach, and also some top players need to join the club.

Landing someone like Nkota will be difficult, but it could be just what the doctor ordered for the Glamour Boys.
