Kaizer chiefs coach told to pull up his socks

A former player of the Glamour boys believes the former Bafana Bafana head coach needs to pull his socks up and that Amakhosi had made little improvement from the past season under the newly appointed Stuart Baxter.

On Saturday, Amakhosi succeeded Royal AM’s 4:1 loss in the FNB Stadium, which forced Baxter to apologize for what he characterized as an embarrassing result to his followers of the club.

At the moment the giants of Soweto have the worst defense in the league, seven goals being granted in their four premiership games.

Robson Muchichwa, a former Amakhosi player, slapped Baxter and demanded the trainer turn things around.

“It’s like these players continue with what they did last season. Since the coach comes in, I notice no changes.

A coach should not apologize for bringing results.

If a coach excuses, he excuses what? He was taken to rescue the sinking boat, but apologizes, “The Siya crew says Muchichwa.

“The coach must tug his socks because the leaders must win. He has his job to complete.

The leaders are a winning squad and they can’t do that. In two games, they can’t grant six goals.

He was taken to help a sinking ship, but the ship seems to sink ever more. Each member of the squad must pull up its socks and do its part.

You must wake up since the leaders are a large team. We need no excuses, we need winners. We need wins.”
