Kaizer Chiefs chase vital points against bottom side Magesi FC

Fresh off a victory over Durban City FC, Kaizer Chiefs will return to action on Saturday, 21 March when they host Magesi FC in a Betway Premiership clash at Moses Mabhida Stadium.

Kick-off is at 18:00.

Amakhosi head into the encounter sitting fifth on the table with 33 points from 19 matches, and crucially, they still have two games in hand on several teams above them – keeping their hopes of CAF qualification firmly alive.

High Stakes at Both Ends

While Kaizer Chiefs are chasing a place in continental competition, Magesi FC find themselves in a very different battle.

The Limpopo-based side are bottom of the standings with 14 points from 20 games, and will be desperate to claw their way out of the relegation zone.

With both teams fighting for vastly different objectives, Saturday’s clash is shaping up to be a high-stakes encounter.

Boost for Amakhosi

Kaizer Chiefs will be strengthened by the return of Sibongiseni Mthethwa and Aden McCarthy, who are back from suspension after missing the previous fixture.

Their return adds valuable depth to a squad already boosted in recent weeks by players returning from injury.
