Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates both have the opportunity to sign a Burkina Faso international striker this winter.
Chiefs, Pirates offered the chance to sign Ouattara
According to Soccer Laduma, Burkinabe striker Djibril Ouattara could make a move to Kaizer Chiefs or Orlando Pirates in the winter window. The 25-year-old has 12 goals in 10 matches for APR FC in Rwanda this season. He’s also got experience with the Dutch side Vitesse Arnhem. He’s also scored twice in 14 caps for Burkina Faso.
“Djibril Ouattara is a quality striker with a proven record. He has also been offered to clubs in South Africa,” an insider said.
“From January, he played 10 games and scored 12 goals and registered three assists for his club in Rwanda. That kind of form can’t be ignored, and also a few people in South Africa have already started to take notice, especially with big clubs like Kaizer Chiefs and Orlando Pirates needing reliable scorers.”
