Kabza De Small reacts to former signee claims about record label
Kabza De Small responds to allegations made by his former signee, Hulumeni, through a series of pointed social media posts.
The amapiano heavyweight took to his Instagram Stories shortly after Hulumeni went public with claims about his experience under Kabza’s record label, Piano Hub.
In a string of TikTok videos, the artist alleged that despite contributing significantly behind the scenes, from songwriting to household chores, he was overlooked and not compensated.

While Kabza did not address the claims directly, his posts appeared to send a clear message.
“Don’t bite the hand that feeds you when you’re full, then turn right and expect a handout when you’re starving again 👊,” one of the posts read.
He followed up with another quote emphasising accountability, suggesting that people who shift blame fail to grow.
“People who blame others for their failures never overcome them. They simply move from problem to problem. To reach your potential, you must continually improve yourself, and you can’t do that if you don’t take responsibility for your actions and learn from your mistakes,” the message stated.
