Kabza De Small and Asake in studio

South African Amapiano heavyweight Kabza De Small has set social media abuzz after sharing photos from the studio with Nigerian music star Asake.

Kabza posted the snaps on Instagram with a cryptic caption that simply read, “2026……”, instantly fuelling speculation about a possible cross-border collaboration between the two stars.

Fans and fellow musicians wasted no time flooding the comment section with excitement and praise, celebrating what many believe could be a major Afro-fusion moment.

One excited fan wrote, “Mr Money x PAPTA 🏋🏽 Big wave!”, capturing the general mood online.

While neither Kabza De Small nor Asake has confirmed details of the collaboration, the studio link-up alone has been enough to get fans talking.

With Kabza’s signature Amapiano sound and Asake’s chart-topping Afrobeat energy, expectations are already sky-high.

For now, all signs point to something big in the works, and if the teaser is anything to go by, music lovers may need to keep their ears open for potential hits landing in 2026.
