Judge Gerrit Muller of the Limpopo High Court will on Friday at 09:30 hand over the judgment on the urgent application by Polokwane Municipality to interdict the DStv Premiership fixture between Marumo Gallants and Kaizer Chiefs scheduled for Sunday, at Royal Bafokeng.
The application was brought by the Municipality who are hoping that the match will be postponed due to what they say is breach of contract from Marumo who are the first respondents on the matter.
The other parties cited are the Premier Soccer League, Kaizer Chiefs and Computicket. Lawyers from both parties presented their arguments for about two hours.
The matter has already compromised the relationship between Marumo and the Municipality and there has been threats of plans to terminate the existing agreement.
