Jojo Robinson opens up about his lookalike

Reality star Jojo Robinson has revealed that she’s often compared to a fellow South African celebrity, and the resemblance is so striking that many have mistaken them for sisters.

The Real Housewives of Durban personality recently opened up about how frequently people confuse her for none other than the queen of bling herself, Khanyi Mbau.

Jojo, who joined the popular Showmax series in its second season, has since become one of the franchise’s standout figures.

She’s captured public attention both on and off screen.

But it turns out, she’s not the only one with a flair for transformation.

In an interview, Jojo shared that she and Khanyi have grown close over time, often exchanging comments on each other’s Instagram posts.

“I absolutely love Khanyi Mbau; we speak often,” she said.

According to Jojo, the comparisons between them go beyond online banter, fans have stopped her in real life thinking she’s Khanyi, and vice versa.

The resemblance has only grown stronger over the years.

Both women have been open about undergoing cosmetic procedures, including facelifts, which they coincidentally had done around the same time in 2024.

“Once the bandages were off, we really did look like we could’ve been birthed by the same mother,” Jojo joked.

Despite their different backgrounds, the two share similar facial features and a glamorous aesthetic that continues to fuel the twin-sister rumours.

Even Jojo admits that she sometimes plays along when fans confuse them.

Reflecting on her reality TV journey, Jojo also spoke candidly about the end of her once-close friendship with fellow Real Housewives castmate Nonku Williams.

Though their bond was a highlight in earlier seasons, things shifted during season five, leaving fans questioning what went wrong.

Jojo, choosing peace over drama, simply said, “I’m appreciative of the years we spent together and the love I had for her… Maybe in the future we will get to speak, but for now, I have peace in knowing that I loved hard.”
