Jojo Robinson’s husband retires after 40 years

Jojo Robinson took to social media to celebrate a major milestone in her husband Calven’s life.

Taking to Instagram, she announced her husband’s retirement after 40 years of hard work.

“After 40 years of long hours and days, my Boo bear has officially clocked out for good. 🩷 I’m so proud of what you have achieved and the life you have given us, and I’m so glad you get to spend the rest of your life enjoying that with your family,” Jojo wrote.

She praised his dedication and work ethic, highlighting the importance of enjoying life after years of hard work.

“You are proof that hard work really is the core of success. Unfortunately so many people get caught up in the ‘when is it enough’ and forget that life is unpredictable, and there are no guarantees. Calven never intended to work until old age wouldn’t let him anymore, because by the time you get there it’s harder to enjoy what you worked for,” she said.

Jojo also acknowledged the strength of her husband’s family legacy, noting, “We’re so proud and so grateful 🙏 🩷 I’ve never met anyone who worked the way you did, apart from your dad of course. The Robinson blood was strong.”

The couple is now embracing this new chapter together, sharing their retirement journey with fans through a newly launched YouTube channel titled Retired with the Robinsons.

Jojo concluded her post with a celebratory note: “Cheers to new chapters and being ‘Retired with the Robinsons’ in the new age of Retirement and what that looks like.”
