The Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) stars, Jojo Robinson and Nonku Williams; affectionately known as ‘JoKu’ have rekindled their friendship, mending many hearts.

Their five-year friendship saw cracks after Nonku referred to the friendship as ‘surface level’ at the end of the show’s fifth season. Jojo and Nonku’s breakup left many of RHOD viewers with broken hearts.

After their public fallout, Nonku took to her Instagram page to apologise to the viewers and Jojo for what she said on the show.

“I never intended to denounce our friendship or diminish the value Jojo has brought to my life. As many may know, in reality TV a lot of things can be taken out of context to make a ‘spicy show’ and my statement was taken out of context and blown out of proportion. I’d like to clarify what I meant.

“I apologise for using the words ‘surface level’ when referring to my friendship with Jojo. I was in no way speaking about the love or bond we share. That was never my intention,” said Nonku.

Recently, Jojo and Nonku jointly shared their video hugging close to the sea, captioned “Round 2, love always wins.”

Instagram users weighed in:

“Oh my God I’m literally in tears,” said one user.

Another one added: “Ow this is beautiful to watch. Friendships have their ups and downs, sweetheart, but if you’re both genuine, you’ll find your way back to each other. It just takes a little effort and understanding.”

While another commented:”You have a big heart Jo.”
