Jill Scott coming to South Africa again

Three-time Grammy Award-winning singer Jill Scott is preparing to return to South Africa.

The American soul icon has included the country in her global To Whom This May Concern tour, which spans dozens of international dates and will wrap up with two highly anticipated performances in November 2026.

The concerts will take place in Pretoria on 7 November and Cape Town on 11 November.

Scott’s return comes more than a year after she last performed in the country at the DStv Delicious Festival in 2024, where her appearance was widely praised by fans who packed the venue to see the legendary performer live.

This upcoming leg of the tour supports her sixth studio album, To Whom This May Concern, marking her first full-length project in more than a decade.

The singer has been travelling across the globe to share the new music with audiences and reconnect with supporters who have followed her career for years.

Announcing the shows through her official platforms, Scott encouraged fans to experience the project live.

“Beautiful People!! You have had time to digest the new music, and now it is time to experience the full vision! To Whom This May Concern tour will be coming to a city near you. Be sure to get your tickets,” the message on her website read.

The tour itself kicks off on 4 June and will span 36 dates worldwide before concluding in South Africa.

As soon as the announcement was made, fans flocked to the singer’s website and social media pages, eager to secure seats ahead of the presale, which begins on 10 March.
