Former president Jacob Zuma has approached the Supreme Court of Appeal to have Advocate Billy Downer removed from his corruption case.
Last year the Pietermaritzburg High Court ruled that Downer would continue prosecuting Zuma.
The former president requested Judge Piet Koen leave to appeal, but this was dismissed.
In the previous appearance, Zuma alleged that Downer leaked important information about him.
He argued that Downer will not grant him a fair trial and wants him removed.
