‘It’s possible to get four goals’

Orlando Pirates face their biggest game of the season. The CAF Champions League title is on the line at 15:00 this afternoon.

Carrying a 3-0 loss in the first leg in Lubumbashi last weekend, the Sea Robbers need four goals without reply.

According to the club’s former superstar, Benedict Vilakazi, the team has shown the ability to create goal-scoring chances.

Looking ahead to the game, Vilakazi feels the potential was displayed in Wednesday’s 1-0 win over Polokwane City in the Betway Premiership.

“When I look at generally how Orlando Pirates played for me it looks positive and I’ve got confidence that come the weekend Pirates can win,” said Tso on iDiski TV.

Vilakazi said Bucs showed enough quality; they just need to be sharper in front of the goal.

“They’ve got players, they’ve shown by creating chances it was just a matter of putting that ball into the net,” Vilakazi said.

“You know when you’ve got a very big game over the weekend, it’s just like when you have R100 — you don’t buy bread for today and forget about the weekend,” he said with a laugh.

“You buy and save R50 so that you can buy bread again over the weekend, because if you spent R100 today what will you use for the weekend? It means you won’t eat over the weekend. So we said let’s put them under pressure and save some goals for the weekend because we need four goals, and it’s possible to get the four goals if we can go on like tonight,” the former Orlando Pirates maestro concluded.
