“It’s all because of Nasty C” AKA receives backlash after his song Lemonade hit a million views in five days

Lemonade by AKA is doing very well on authorised digital music streaming services, but South Africans claim that Nasty C is the only reason the song is successful. The rapper’s new song Lemons (Lemonade) has amassed one million views in just five days.

Nasty C is featured in the catchy song, Lemonade by Supa Mega. He released the song and the music video on the same day. Since it was released, the song has consistently topped the charts. AKA praised rapper K.O for reinventing himself and releasing the smash hit “SETE.” Many applauded AKA for his courageous comeback after he was maligned following the contentious death of his young fiancée.

Popular Twitter user @ChrisExcel102 praised Supa Mega on the social media platform. He claimed that AKA’s achievement of 1 million views in 5 days after everyone had written him off in recent months is one of the most motivating tales he has ever heard.

Tweeps responded to his remark in his comment section with various feelings. Some said they admired how he recovered from the Anele drama and that they looked up to him because he persisted. To AKA’s surprise, however, it appears that people believe the song is popular not at all because of AKA but because Nasty C is featured in it. Nasty C is credited with doing all the beautiful work for the song, and many Twitter users thanked him for “carrying” it. Others even added that Nasty C should have received all the credit for that song because, when they compared verses, the young rapper was far superior to the song’s creator, AKA.

AKA complained on social media that he was Number 2 to SETE, and K.O responded. While SETE is kicking back at the top of the charts, AKA’s new single Lemons (Lemonade) is at Number 2 on almost all official digital music streaming platforms. While Supa Mega’s new song features Nasty C, K.O’s SETE features Blxckie and Young Stunna. Both songs perform astronomically well on music streaming services. They are heard frequently on radio stations throughout Mzansi. A screenshot of some of the official digital streaming platforms’ charts was shared on Twitter by AKA. Mr Cash Time responded to his favourite collaborator’s tweet in his fellow rapper’s comment section by simply laughing it off. Hip-hop experts said in the comments section of K.O that AKA would have to compete for first place because SETE is a popular song.
