SABC ( Internship IT Audit) 2022
Graduates are invited to join the group, internal audit team of SABC, as interns. The purpose of this 12-month programme is to assist SABC’s IT Audit Department to ensure that successful implementations are made of business initiatives or programs that achieve SABC’s goals.
About the Team With the assigned resources, the IT Audit Team supports management with regard to conducting an information system audit program effectively and efficiently in compliance with related standards and regulations.
Location: Auckland Park
Key Responsibilities and roles includes:
Plan the scope, identify the objectives, and identify the benchmarks to be used.
Evaluate the fraud and business risks.
Prepare the audit plan for the project.
Engage relevant role players in a walkthrough process.
Executes procedures and tests in accordance with best practices that include policies, procedures, standards, and specifications.
Conduct audits to ensure that internal controls are adequate and effective. Develop audit tests to safeguard assets.
Audits are conducted in accordance with business requirements and approved audit plans.
Prepare audit reports that include audit findings, business risks, and recommendations for review by specialists.
Implement audit recommendations within the timeframe specified in the audit report.
All stakeholders should be informed of audit results.
You must submit the audit report for review, issuance, and archiving.
Audits must be completed within the specified timeframe, scope, and budget.
Continuously monitor using CAATs.

Who should apply?
To be considered for the SABC IT Audit Internship 2022, the applicants must meet all the eligibility requirements set for this programme. Following are the educational and skill requirements:
Education in auditing, BCom, Computer Science or Information Systems or Informatics (NQF-7).
Knowledge & Skills required are:
Auditing informatics knowledge
The ability to use computers
Managing stakeholders at different levels and interacting with them
Information management understanding
Auditing requirements should be kept up to date
