Isco has officially announced that he’s leaving Real Madrid on a free move when his contract comes to an end in June 30 after nine successful years at the club.
The 30-year-old midfielder joined the reigning Uefa Champions League winners back in July 2013 from Malaga.
The Spanish international has failed to get game time at the Bernabeu since the return of Zinedine Zidane last term, and Carlo Ancelotti this season.
He only managed to make 17 appearances across all competitions for Real this campaign.
Overall, he has scored 53 goals and registered 56 assists in 352 games for the Spanish giants, winning 19 honours at the club, including five Champions Leagues and three Spanish titles.
“After 9 years I finish my journey at Real Madrid, a club that has made it possible for me to realise all the dreams I had when I was a child,” Isco wrote on his official Instagram account.
“I want to thank my teammates, coaches, coaching staff, physios, kit men and workers at Valdebebas and Santiago Bernabeu for all the work, love and support that everyone needs and that I have never lacked.
“I also want to thank the fans who welcomed me in an incredible way from the first day and who accompany this team in every corner of the world!”
