Springboks fly-half Handre Pollard and his wife Marise celebrated their daughter’s heart-warming baptism a few days ago.

HANDRE AND MARISE POLLARD CELEBRATE DAUGHTER’S BAPTISM

In October 2025, Handre and Marise Pollards became parents of two under two. The pair welcomed their second child Isabella Tanya Pollard, a year after welcoming their first child Hunter Andre Pollard in April 2024.

Handre and Marise met through Facebook back in 2012. The pair tied the knot a few years later at Cavalli Estate in the Cape Winelands in 2017 and have been happily married since!

Last weekend, Marise took to Instagram to share photos from Isabella’s baptism. Take a look…

“May His favor rest upon your life, our dearest Isabella 🕊️,” read the caption.

THE DREAM HOME IN SOUTH AFRICA

Handre and Marise lived in the UK since 2022 as the rugby star joined Leicester Tigers. In 2025, the couple moved back to South Africa as Handre signed a contract with Pretoria-based rugby team The Bulls for two years.

Marise revealed that they were living with her parents while their dream home was being built.

Marise previously revealed that they were staying with her parents as their home was being built.

“We’re currently staying with my parents while our house is being built and all our furniture makes its way back from the UK by sea,” she wrote on Instagram.

Earlier this month, Marise shared a look inside their dream home.

Just before Handre and Marise welcomed their baby girl, Springboks lock Eben Etzebeth and his wife and Anlia also welcomed their second baby. Faf de Klerk and his wife Mine also welcomed their second child in November 2025. All three Springboks welcomed their first child in 2024. Now, they’re becoming a family of four!
