Mzansi Magic’s telenovela Inimba celebrates a great win after bagging two awards at the 19th annual South African Film and Television Awards (SAFTAs).

Zenande Mfenyana, who portrays the character of Thumeka Mabandla on Inimba, also walked away with her first golden horn for Best Supporting Actress in Telenovela, making it a total of three awards for Inimba.

Produced by the Milton Empire, Inimba has won the hearts of many, keeping them glued to screens through the story of love, sacrifice, and the unstoppable force of a mother’s bond with her child.

Over the weekend at the Gallagher Convention Centre, Inimba scooped the Best Achievement in Scriptwriting, as well as the Most Popular TV Soap or Telenovela (Public vote).
