A few weeks ago, Dr Malinga had been trending after news broke out that he had failed to pay his mortgage. It was later revealed that SARS would take his property and auction it to recover the money he owed. Dr Malinga had to watch as he lost his property so painfully.

Dr Malinga’s house was left with nothing as he lost the property he had worked for his entire life. All this happened in his eyes, and there is no one to blame than the man himself. In an interview with Podcast and Chill with MacG, Dr Malinga detailed his story of what happened to him to end up not paying and the whole process. He even said he would never call DJ Maphorisa for help, no matter what mess he got into. The entire interview raised his emotions, and he broke into tears upon explaining how the Sherriff took his repossesed property and auctioned it in his eyes.

A few years ago, Dr Malinga lived a luxurious life as he saw his music hitting the streets high. He even moved from his hometown as he purchased an R3.2 million mansion in the Zambezi Country Estate. He filled the beautiful mansion with expensive property, and he had a glimpse of heaven in his mansion. Sadly, the Petronella hitmaker had to live this soft life for a few years before SARS repossesed and auctioned his property.

As sad and heartbreaking as it is, Dr Malinga dared to speak about the whole experience. Malinga thinks he is a giver who doesn’t expect to receive all the time. As he broke into tears, Malinga said he described a trend in his life that looked like a curse. He said that
