A look at Lamiez Holworthy’s relationship with her mother

Lamiez has a great relationship with her mother, and their fantastic relationship is admired by many. Her mother is of Indian and coloured community, but her mother made sure Lamiez does not feel neglected or nay how less.

In an interview with news reporters, Lamiez describes her mother as a supportive person who chose her over the colourism community. In her own words, she said:

“Growing up, my mom never treated us differently from my siblings. I was black, and my siblings were coloured, but she treated us equally.

I did not even notice that I was darker and that my siblings had longer and soft hair  She had this ‘black child’ that others did not know how to define, but she chose me over her family on several occasions”.
