Author and motivational speaker Rachel Kolisi, the estranged wife of Springboks captain Siya Kolisi, shared an update on how she is feeling after undergoing shoulder surgery on Monday 18 May.
RACHEL KOLISI SHARES UPDATE ON SHOULDER SURGERY
Falling Forward author Rachel Kolisi revealed that she was hospitalised last week. She has since revealed that she underwent shoulder surgery, as she took to her Instagram Stories to share a “proof of life” video.
“I thought I would do a proof of life video… and I also thought it would be best to do a video when I was off pain medication. Just to ensure nothing interesting comes out of my mouth,” she said in her Instagram Story.
Rachel also expressed that all is well as she recovers. The mom of two also apologised for the second photo she posted saying it looked more dramatic than it needed to. However, she was just trying to show a sweet moment of the kids giving her a facial while in hospital.
“All is well… I’m going to attempt a shower today. I had a shoulder operation on Monday (last week) and I’m really sorry that I put that second picture that I put on my post because it does look way more dramatic than what it needed to be but I was just trying to show that the kids were doing a facial for me so I was trying to show something sweet,” she continued in an Instagram Story which expires within 24 hours of posting.
Rachel has two children with estranged husband Siya Kolisi – Nicholas (11) and Keziah (9). She also legally adopted Siya’s two siblings with him – Liyema and Liphelo, when they were younger, making her a mother figure to four.
