Nadia Nakai says she’s done being stigmatised as AKA’s widow

South African rapper Nadia Nakai opened up about her new romantic relationship and moving on from past love during her appearance on the latest episode of L-Tido’s podcast.

During the candid interview, L-Tido asked Nadia about her relationship with Toss, which she confirmed without hesitation.

“Toss is my baby, I love him so much,” she said.

She also reflected on what she has gained from this new chapter in her life, explaining how it helped her reclaim her freedom and identity.

“I gained my freedom, under this cloud of stigma that I’m forever frozen in time of someone else’s widow, when I wasn’t married to him.”

“You need to understand that Kiernan has been dead longer than I was with him when he was alive. I’m still Nadia Nakai, and was always Nadia Nakai before, and I will be Nadia Nakai after Kiernan,” she said.

When L-Tido brought up the negative reactions from AKA’s fanbase, the Megacy, Nadia addressed it openly, emphasizing self-love and moving forward.

“I love the Megacy, but I love myself too, and I don’t want to be in this life alone, by myself. I don’t want to spend the rest of my life loving a ghost. I love him and I will always love him; He will always have a special place in my heart, but I’m ready to move on,” she explained.
