SuperSport United head coach Gavin Hunt says he isn’t happy with the home-ground situation after playing their last 12 games “away from home”.

Matsatsantsa will have another home game away from home in the Carling Knockout Cup after being drawn against Polokwane City, who are using New Peter Mokaba Stadium as their home venue.

The Tshwane giants have played all their home matches this campaign at the New Peter Mokaba Stadium this season because Lucas Moripe Stadium was initially not be ready.

Hunt has expressed his disappointment with the situation, saying they spent more time traveling than actually training due to the stadium arrangements and their participation in the CAF Confederations Cup.

“Anybody that’s in the league is going to be worthy opponents, I don’t see that as a difficult or easy [draw]. We just want to play at home. That’s that’s what we’re trying to do, that’s the most important thing,” Hunt said at the Carling Knockout launch.

“We’ve played 12 away games in a row, us. Pep Guardiola has played four now and he is complaining, we played 12.

“So we’re not happy. I’m not happy to play but that’s something that has gone on behind the scenes. We just gonna have to accept.

“We don’t train, we haven’t tried the last two months. We don’t train, we just get the bus in drive, do a head-tennis and start the game.”
