Although President of the republic of South Africa and African National Congress, president Cyril Matamela Ramaphosa assured trade union federation Cosatu on Monday last week that the ANC is doing everything in its power to address the unemployment and poverty that has engulfed South Africa, exacerbated by the Covid-19 pandemic, it has been reported that COSATU had rejected the African National Congress proposal for crowd funding.
Currently, the African National Congress is failing to pay its employees their salaries from June 2021 and now it has also notify its employees that they mustn’t expect salaries since it can’t afford.
Maybe this is the reason why COSATU had rejected the African National Congress proposal which intend to seek financial support from the ground.
It has been reported that Nehawu is angry on how the ANC had treated its workers.
