As expected, it was one-way traffic in the opening 45 minutes with Mamelodi Sundowns scoring two goals in the opening five minutes of their Nedbank Cup Last 16 clash against Mathaithai at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.

Bradley Ralani opened the scoring early on, tucking away a rebounded shot. Captain Themba Zwane made it 2-0 with a first time finish in the box.

And it could have been a lot worse for Mathaithai as Sundowns missed several good opportunities.
