Mamelodi Sundowns have opened up a 1-0 lead over Royal AM in the first half of their DStv Premiership tie at Chatsworth Stadium.

The Brazilians looked bright in the early stages as they attacked in numbers.

Gaston Sirino opened the scoring in the 13th minute of the showdown to put Bafana Ba Style in front.

John Maduka’s side improved as the half went on, and came close to levelling the matters, however, their efforts were fruitless.
