Housebreaking Case Opened After Gadgets Stolen From Suspended SAPS Lt General’s Residence
Johannesburg police are investigating a housebreaking and theft incident at the residence of suspended South African Police Service (SAPS) Divisional Commissioner for Supply Chain Management, Lieutenant General (Dr) Molefe Isaac Fani.
According to preliminary reports, unknown suspects broke into the property and made off with various gadgets, including the lieutenant general’s laptop. No arrests have been made, and the exact circumstances of the burglary remain under active investigation.
A case of housebreaking and theft has been formally opened. Police have urged anyone with information to come forward as investigations continue.
The incident comes while Lt Gen Fani is suspended from his senior SAPS position.
