Miche Minnies was on song as she scored all the goals in Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies’ 4-0 Hollywoodbets Super League victory over First Touch Academy at the Baroka FC village in Lebowakgomo on Wednesday. 

With the midweek result the defending champions remain top of the log with 27 points from 10 matches while the Limpopo side, dropped to 12^th position with nine points also from 10 games. 

JVW Girls dropped points for the second time this season as they went down 1-0 to Bloemfontein Celtic Ladies at home. The Blue Diamonds conceded a late penalty and Celtic converted to steal the victory in the tightly contested affair. JVW also dropped to third position on the table with 20 points while Celtic are behind them with 19 points both from 10 games.  

University of Western Cape (UWC) claimed second spot with their 2-1 win against University of Johannesburg (UJ) in the mother city. Thinasonke Mbuli’s charges now have 23 points in 10 games while UJ dropped to sixth spot, tied on 17 points with MaIndies Ladies above them. MaIndies mounted Golden Ladies’ problems when they defeated them 3-1 and condemned Ladies to the basement with two points from 10 games. 

Coal City Wizards lost 3-2 to Thunderbirds Ladies in Mpumalanga. Wizards are now placed 11^th on the standings with 12 points from 10 outings while Thunderbirds are eighth, equal on 16 points with Tshwane University of Technology (TUT) in seventh spot. TUT defeated rookies Vasco Da Gama 2-0 away, leaving Vasco in 13^th position with just six points both in nine matches.

On the heels of Vasco are fellow new comers City Lads who registered their first win in the league, a 1-0 victory against Tsunami Queens to bring their point tally to five. The Queens are second from bottom with two points from 10 matches. Meanwhile Durban Ladies made it two out of two wins with a 1-0 win over Richmond United at the Sugar Ray Xulu stadium. Durban Ladies occupy ninth position on the log with 15 points and a game in hand while United are number 10 with 14 points from 10 games.
