American actress Shannon Elizabeth has once again declared her love for South Africa, describing the country as a place that has transformed her life.
The American Pie star on Wednesday shared an Instagram post in which she wrote: “Evening walks like this are my favorite part of being back in Cape Town. Wind in my hair, Cooper in my arms, waves crashing against the rocks… this is the kind of ordinary I’d trade almost nothing for.”
Deep connection
Elizabeth splits her time between South Africa and the United States.

Sharing a photograph of a South African sunset, Elizabeth wrote that the country has become one of her favourite places in the world.
“One of my favorite places in South Africa. ❤️🇿🇦. There’s something about being here that instantly makes me slow down, breathe a little deeper, and appreciate how beautiful this country truly is.”
She went on to explain how South Africa has had a profound impact on her life.
“South Africa has changed my life in so many ways. It has challenged me, inspired me, broken my heart at times, and filled it in ways I never expected. I honestly can’t imagine my life without it now.”
Elizabeth concluded her heartfelt tribute by expressing gratitude for the country’s breathtaking scenery.
“Grateful for moments like this… and for sunsets that remind us just how magical this place really is.”
