Co-coach Cedric Kaze says the ambition is there, but he is careful to stay focused.
His day begins at 6 am, with preparation for sessions, meetings, and video analysis forming the backbone of the work behind the scenes.
COMPETING IN THREE COMPETITIONS
Amakhosi remain active in three competitions. In the Betway Premiership, they are third with 30 points from 15 matches, just two behind Mamelodi Sundowns and Orlando Pirates.
In the CAF Confederation Cup Group D, Kaizer Chiefs sit third with seven points after four games, one point behind leaders Zamalek.
The Nedbank Cup also returns this month, with Amakhosi set to kick off their defence away to Stellenbosch FC on Wednesday.

The combination of league standing, continental form, and cup football has sparked conversation about a possible treble. Co-coach Kaze has noted the talk but stresses it is still early in the season.
“It’s the middle of the season and we are already talking about a treble, but I like that,” Kaze told journalists. “Every coach has a dream.
“That’s why I wake up every day at 6 am, preparing for sessions, meetings, and video work with the players.”
Working with Khalil Ben Youssef, Kaze has overseen a consistent start for Kaizer Chiefs. The focus on structure, discipline, and preparation is central, and the work continues beyond the pitch.
“That’s why I stay up late preparing for the next game. Nothing comes easy, nothing comes without hard work,” he said.
“Kaizer Chiefs approach every situation positively, working for the best outcomes. We will continue to push and see how far we can go,” the Burundian mentor concluded.
