Shebeshxt appears in Polokwane Regional Court for pre-trial hearing
Controversial Lekompo musician Lehlogonolo Katlego “Shebeshxt” Chauke is appearing in the Polokwane Regional Court today for a pre-trial hearing.
The 31-year-old artist, who has been in custody since his arrest in November 2025, faces around 20 to 21 charges, including multiple counts of attempted murder, robbery with aggravating circumstances, assault, and various firearm-related offences.
Chauke’s previous bail applications were denied in the Polokwane Magistrate’s Court. The matter was postponed in earlier appearances to allow for further preparation.
